Privacy Policy — AgonArena

1. Who we are

AgonArena is an AI negotiation trainer. The service is operated by Stepan Martiyanov (martiyanov@gmail.com). This policy describes what data the AgonArena mobile app and agonarena.ru website process.

2. Data we process

Anonymous device identity. On first launch, the app generates a random UUID (installation_id) and stores it in your device's Keychain. This identifier contains no name, phone number, or email. It links your duels to your device across sessions.

Duel texts. Your replies (typed or dictated), AI opponent responses, judge scores, and verdicts are stored on our server, linked to the anonymous device identifier.

Voice recordings. If you use voice input, the audio (up to 60 seconds) is sent to our server for speech recognition. We use external AI services for recognition (see Section 3). The audio file itself is deleted from our server immediately after recognition — typically within seconds. We do not maintain a library of your voice recordings.

Feedback. If you send feedback from the app, we receive the message text and (if attached) a screenshot. Screenshots are stored in a protected directory on our server.

Technical data. Like any web service, we log standard request information (IP address, timestamp, path) for security and debugging.

3. Third-party AI providers

We use external AI services to power the trainer:

• LLM (opponent responses and judge evaluations): z.ai API
• STT (speech recognition): Groq (Whisper) / Deepgram (Nova) / OpenAI (Whisper) — fallback chain

When you use voice input, the audio recording is sent to the active STT provider for recognition. We have selected providers that do not use API customer data for model training:

• Groq: Zero Data Retention (ZDR) is enabled in account settings
• OpenAI: API data is not used for training; audio is retained up to 30 days for abuse monitoring
• Deepgram: zero retention after processing (default API)

Your reply texts are also sent to the LLM provider for opponent response generation and judge evaluations.

4. Purposes

• Providing the service: duels, history, evaluations
• Quality improvement: error analysis, prompt tuning
• Feedback: processing reports and fixing issues
• Security: abuse prevention (rate limiting)

5. Storage and deletion

• Duel texts: stored until account deletion
• Voice audio: deleted from our server immediately after recognition (seconds)
• Feedback screenshots: stored until reviewed
• Server logs: standard period (up to 30 days)

Data deletion. Email martiyanov@gmail.com with your installation_id (Settings → AgonArena → About) and we will delete all data linked to your device.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Auth tokens are stored as SHA-256 hashes. Server access is restricted. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertising networks.

7. No ad tracking

We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA), do not integrate analytics SDKs, and do not track your behavior across apps.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with the date noted.
